　　Before the console test of the test transformer, the maximum working current shall be calculated according to the capacity and voltage level of different tested objects, and the current protector shall be adjusted. The test wiring shall refer to the relevant connection diagram in the test transformer console manual or the test transformer, and the grounding terminal shall be well grounded (the following withstand voltage test is an example).

　　1. Connect the power supply (the box type is the socket type power supply, and the desk type is the wiring column type power supply), turn the voltage regulator handle to the zero position, the zero position switch is closed, and the zero position indicator light (yellow light) is on (also known as the zero position output status indicator of the voltage regulator);

　　2. Press the start button (green), the contactor is closed, the voltage regulator is powered on, the working indicator light (red light) is on, and an alarm sound is given (the alarm sound and light can stop only after the alarm sound leaves the zero position with the voltage regulator);

　　3. Rotate the voltage regulator handle slowly and evenly clockwise, and pay close attention to the instrument reading. When it rises to the required high voltage value, stop rotating the hand and press the timing button (yellow) in time. At this time, the digital display time relay displays the time in sequence (the timing unit is "s", second). When the set time is reached, an audible and visual alarm will be sent out in the test transformer console, Turn the regulator handle in the opposite direction until the regulator returns to zero, and release the timing button

　　4. In case of short circuit, flashover, breakdown and other overcurrent during the boost or withstand voltage test, the current relay protection trips and the voltage regulator automatically cuts off power, indicating that the tested object is unqualified. At this time, return the voltage regulator to zero, cut off the power supply and check the tested object.
